Ciutadella is a historic harbour town that was the original capital of Menorca. It is located on the west coast of Menorca.
There are several cultural and religious attractions in the town especially along the lovely walking streets that go through the old town of Ciutadella. There are also several town squares where you can relax and enjoy the atmosphere of the town.
Main square of the town is called Plaza de's Born which is surrounded by several great historical buildings and many cafes on the street level. From the main square there is a great view to the harbour of Ciutadella.
Harbour of Ciutadella
The harbour of Ciutadella is situated at the end of a narrow bay. It is a beautiful area with great seafood restaurants where you can enjoy fresh fish meals made out of the fish of a day. The restaurants in the harbour are a bit more expensive but the atmosphere in the harbour and the great food is worth the extra price.
Cruise ships and ferries travel daily from the harbour of Ciutadella to Alcudia and Palma de Mallorca which are located on the neighbouring island of Mallorca.

The Festes de Sant Joan
The Festes de Sant Joan is a largest festival of the year. It takes place 23rd - 24th of June each year and the
