General infromation about Menorca

Menorca is a beautiful holiday island in the Mediterranean Sea. It is located about 250 km off the coast of mainland Spain. It belongs to a group of islands called the Balearic islands, which also includes the islands of Malloca, Ibiza and Formentera.

The biggest cities of the island are Ciutadella and Mahon. Ciutadella is located on the west coast of the island. Mahon is the capital of Menorca and it is located at the east coast of Menorca. There are many smaller towns all around the island that are popular tourist resorts, Calan Blanes, Calan Bosch ad Cala Galdana to mention a few of the most popular ones.
